Italian Language Workshop - La Casa

This year learn Italian!  There's no stress, no grades, no test , the home work is fun (and completely optional) and the knowledgeable facilitators make sure learners of all levels have the chance to participate, learn and enjoy the session.   The group is relaxed, interactive, informal and above all supportive;  making it a safe place to start your adventure with Italian or continue your progress with la bella lingua.  If you are an expert or a native speaker come and share your knowledge and precious gift with a passionate group of enthusiasts.

Each workshop has a theme and an [optional] homework assignment:  the theme for this workshop is "La Casa", words you'll want to know when you rent that villa in Tuscany!

Judy and I enjoyed meeting everyone. A special thank you to Eli and John who, obviously, contribute a lot of their personal time and effort to organize the program. It must be challenging leading a group in which individual members vary considerably in their ability to speak Italian. Judy and I would like to see more emphasis placed on developing reading, pronunciation and conversation skills. I am a retired industrial education and have designed and conducted many hundreds of seminars and workshops. I would be pleased to assist in any way that I might be requested. Further, in the military I was a Chinese language translator and was taught Chinese through the total immersion method at Yale University. I might be able to share some of these techniques at our meetings. However, Eli and John do a spectacular job and Judy and I truly appreciate their meeting leadership.

    Ciao a tutti
Sorry to have missed several meetings, an accident left me with a broken hip and a month in hospitals, with no access to the Internet. I should be back in 2 to 4 weeks or so. Meanwhile, I'll try to keep up with homework.
