(Music party) Update!
I hope you are coming to our Festa Musicale workshop Saturday April 6th! Here is an update on this week’s activities:
For those who like to meet for lunch after the workshop we will be going to Mamma Lucia’s. We will take a headcount at the beginning of class so we can call ahead. Here is the website and directions:
Since we are celebrating, music this week the homework assignment is to translate a few lines from a popular American song into Italian. In the session, each person will read the translation and we will try to guess what the song is. If you would like to submit your translation, please post it by 5:00 PM on Friday so we can get it printed out before the workshop.
Mike Melaugh, who just returned from a trip to Italy and went to hear Eros Ramazzotti live in Firenze, will host a name that tune activity with Italian versions of Disney songs; should be a lot of fun!
We posted a sampling of popular Italian musical artist songs on the website to help get you in the mood. Festa Musicale Most of these videos have the lyrics in Italian, which makes them a fun way to learn vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
Gracie has a conflict this week so the bingo game to review key vocabulary will be rescheduled for another time.
