RE: [italian-504] Italian Speakers Meetup, Member Feedback

Buon Giourno Jorj,

I am a new member and I have attended 2 meetings which I have thoroughly enjoyed.  Due to logistics I will likely only attend the downtown location in the future.

I have enjoyed the camaraderie and have a few suggestions for building our vocabulary and confidence by adding a bit of structure to the evening:
1.  Introduce a few new words for the day and then encourage participants to use them in a variety of ways throughout their conversations.
2.  Instead of sitting at one long table, encourage people to sit in small groups or 4.  Then throughout the evening change the groups so that we're exposed to different people and different levels of conversation at least 3 times in an evening (of course this is dependent on the number of rsvps).

Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
Best,  Joanne Blake

Subject: [italian-504] Italian Speakers Meetup, Member Feedback

A distinction was made as of recent: some Italian Speakers regularly attend meetups (whether North or South) and others attend once or twice and no longer come out.

I thought I would solicit candid responses from our members that are telling of the reasons for either continually attending or attending once or twice only. Please know that all feedback is appreciated, including constructive criticism, so the meetup can be continually improved.

The candid responses will be compared against your meetup history to better understand which group you fall into.

Thank you in advance to all who assist with some feedback. Grazie mille. Ciao, Jorj
