for the next MU, the first of the 2014, I will still propose you a vegetarian recipe. In particular the KING of the italian veg recipe: "Spaghetti al Pesto Genovese!"
The Pesto Genovese is prepared starting using FRESH BASIL leafs and has to be consumed within 6 hours after leafs are cut ... this will ensure you the REAL taste of the Pesto and that the food is absolutely healthy.
If you have tried Pesto alla Genovese buying a pot in a supermarket, unfortunately you had rubbish in your meal cause Pesto is so delicate that it is not possible to keep its taste for days, imagine for months!
So dear -amici- of this MU, I will show you who easy, funny and cheap is to prepare an excellent Pesto sauce at home for you and your friends. Normally Pesto ask a white wine ... why? ... ? dont know!
Besides, in this lesson, I will teach you how people of Naples cook spaghetti .. you will see the "Vesuvio blast" and the "fiore di Napoli", and also how to be sure not to overcook the pasta.
The evening schedule:
- opening at 19h30
- lesson start between 20h00 and 20h45
- pastasciutta served "à volonté" in the kitchen after the lesson
Ticket as usual (and will never change): 5 EUR for a glass of wine and 2 EUR as contribution to buy the ingredients and cooking/serving.
