Introduction
Beginning student of Italian, took my first visit to Italy this past fall. Can't wait to go back. Looking to meet up with others to improve my language skills. I live in NW Phila.

This was my first time with this group and I really enjoyed it. Choice of venues was very good, people were all very friendly. No one was completely an expert in Italian (except Eros who was born in Italy, of course) so maybe a third of the conversations were in English and we helped each other find the right words in Italian. It was really a lovely vibe.

Hi Berdine, and welcome to the Mostly Waltz group! Since 1999 our volunteer-run dance has been Philly's place for waltzing (and other couple dances) to live music. We meet monthly on Sunday afternoons. Our next event is October 28 (no dance in Sept.) We recommend first-timers come for the free lesson at 2:30. Come alone or with partner--either

It's nice to meet you. Ours is a group that tries hard to speak in Italian as much as possible during our meetings. We also share tips on how to increase our vocabulary and fluency on our Discussion page. I hope you find the information there helpful. All are welcome to our meetings as sometimes even listening to others speak is a good learning opportunity. We look forward to meeting you!!
