Rio's Place (map)
We need help from anyone who is free. Thanks to Kathy and Kate's hard work and your leads, the rescue reps have hired a search professional to advise us on the Rio Search. (But, really, you-all hired her because we are using the funds we saved from the Meetup auction to pay her very modest fee.)
We are going to meet Kat, from Pethunters.com at 10:00 a.m. at the address on the Meetp. Kat and some of her volunteers will help us put together special fluorescent posters. We'll take these posters (as signs and sign boards) and go down to the intersection of 85th and Aurora (and if we have enough volunteers, maybe another intersection) and do a "lost dog alert". Kat says this works way better than flyers--it gets lots of attention and we may even have someone stop and say that they've spotted Rio.
Kat also has "tagger program" with special fluorescent markers to mark the back windows of anyone's car that's interested (no, it won't come off on the rain, but windex takes it off easily).
Anyone who can, please plan on helping us from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Cell phone contact is Kathy's Cel--[masked]

It is heartening to see so many folks out on a blustery day helping to find Rio! Are we going to do it on Sunday? I lent some gloves to someone there - I can gete them tomorrow if we are rallying for Rio. Ellen & Bruiser
