Join us for a weekend meet-up at Magnuson this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. Meet in the small dog area so the IGs can run and play, then go for a nice walk to the beach and back. Hope to see you there.

It started out very cold, but 4humans and 5 IGs---and early on a rowdy bunch of pugs--warmed thing up very quickly. Most fun news is that Ali will soon be adding a second pup to her pack.

Unfortunately, I have come down with a cold and decided it would be best to stay home. I'll probably be able to make the next gathering. Was really looking forward to spending some time meeting all of you; people and dogs!

I am wondering if anyone on Sunday might be able to tell me a bit more about IGs. Thanks!

I am considering adopting a rescue IG, and want to get to know them and their families better! They seem like wonderful dogs.

Welcome Leslie ... IGs are EXTREMELY affectionate. They absolutely love people and like nothing more than being with their owner. They literally crave human contact. You will not find a better, more loyal, more loving friend in the animal kingdom than an IG. They're also very low maintenance, very intelligent, VERY athletic and quite stunning. They're often described as walking pieces of art and if you adopt one beware. If you're out in public with one, you'll get more compliments and attention from total strangers than you've ever gotten in your life. It was by far the biggest surprise I experienced after I adopted my first IG (I now have two).
