Hi Alice!

Wow Luke looks pretty cozy there in the jacket! I bet he felt better after the bath the other night - after a while all that dirt makes them itchy!! We are so happy that all that he needed was a dental - unfortunate he lost so many teeth but like you've said his energy level will probably skyrocket past what already high energy he had. He's an amazing IG and he'll make someone very happy when he finds his forever home. With how he has taken to your Maddie he should do well in a home with another dog I'd think too.

Thanks for the kind words - if you need a transport again just let us know.

Happy New Year to you, Ralph and the Iggy Brood!

Hi, All

Many thanks to Heather and Scott who picked up Luke and delivered him on Thursday.  Luke is a real sweetheart, but, as Scott and Heather will testify—was a major Stinky Dog.  A bath helped but the big problem was that his mouth smelled like rotten meat.  Luke saw the vet on Friday and had what may have been the first dental of his 13 years of life on Monday and had some worrisome growths removed.  He only has 2 teeth left and is recovering.

Please welcome Luke to our Rescue.  Here he is looking a bit bleary.  Luke is heavy into Tramadol and Clavamox right now, but we are looking forward seeing his new energy once he heals up.

Thanks again, Scott and Heather.  Luke sends kisses that aren’t as smelly any more!

Happy New Year,

Alice and The Pack
