JavaScript - ClojureScript

Hoping to finish the JavaScript meetup that failed to pass back in August. Let's meet at Singlebrook and talk the latest in peer-to-peer communication tech.

I'll do a very informal presentation, and we can play with the code in real time. Growlers provided by me.

Greg and I had a good time talking about ClojureScript and core.async. -1 star for poor attendance, though!

Sorry to chime in so late, I didn't catch up with these developments until now, but I have to miss this one. Health reasons.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that.

I remember from last week's Beer & Code there was some interest in Clojure, and what all the hype is about. I've recently been working on trying to understand some of the benefits of using core.async (a new Clojure library) to write callback-free async logic in the browser using ClojureScript. I'd be happy to try to polish my understanding a bit and talk about that if there is interest.

No, I think we're going to go ahead with it--I'm going to try to fill in with the talk I proposed above. Maybe we should change the title?

Hi all, I hate to have to cancel AGAIN, but my wife Heather broke her foot. It was fairly major surgery, permanent pins through the bones, and a 6 week recovery. We just got back from the hospital last night. All that to say, I need to stay at home. WebRTC is the JS talk that is doomed, it seems. Let's shoot for next month?

Next month sounds good. Sorry about Heather's foot!
