A few of us were chatting at the end of the meeting about an interesting architectural idea from some of the same corners of the field that brought us MVC - would love to chat about the article at one of our meetings:

http://www.artima.com/articles/dci_vision.html

The article talks a lot about how to make object oriented languages work well with DCI, but I think there's an interesting common theme between this idea and the "100 functions on one data structure rather than 10 functions on 10 data structures" ideology espoused by Clojure and other functional languages (http://clojure.org/rationale. Thoughts? Maybe we can have a rousing discussion in December along these lines :-D
