Come to this fascinating discussion with Greg Hauptner, the inspirational founder of the "G-Star School" and 2010 South Florida Business Journal Ultimate CEO. Get a behind-the-scenes look into one of the most fascinating high schools in the world, located right here in Palm Beach County. G-Star School is the largest motion picture studio in Florida – even bigger than Universal Studios. The discussion will feature a special introduction by famous acting coach and G-Star teacher Ron Paolillo. Mr. Paolillo played "Horshack" during 91 episodes of "Welcome Back, Kotter" between 1975 and 1979.

The G-STAR School of the Arts for Motion Pictures and Broadcasting is a public charter high school and is also the largest film, TV, production and acting high school in the world. The school trains students in writing, directing, producing, acting and all aspects of film and TV production in front of the camera and behind the camera.

The G-Star School of the Arts is the only high school in the world with a commercial Motion Picture Studio on its campus, the G-Star Studios, now the largest motion picture studio in the State. Over 50 feature films have been produced at the Studios, plus many commercials including NIKE and Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as music videos and rehearsals by Celine Dion, Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks and Radiohead. G-Star students assist on the sets of multi-million dollar feature films, commercials and music videos working side by side with the cast, crew, Producers and Directors as interns, thus receiving hands-on, real-world experience in the film industry.

Among the famous persons who have produced, worked on or appeared in films at the G-Star Studios are Bobby Moresco, the Academy Award winning Co-Producer and Co-Writer of CRASH and Million Dollar Baby; Master Producer Jonathan Krane, with over two billion dollars in box office including the films Face/Off, Swordfish, The General's Daughter, and the Look Who's Talking trilogy; Dean Lyon, a Special Visual Effects Supervisor for the Academy Award winning trilogy Lord of the Rings, Titanic, Armageddon, Independence Day; Tony and Golden Globe winner Barry Bostwick, famous acting coach Ron Paolillo (Welcome Back Kotter, It's a Dog Gone Tale: Destiny's Stand); and the famous Director Susan Seidelman who directed Desperately Seeking Susan and the pilot and many episodes of Sex and the City.

G-Star has been featured on the "Today" show, and recent articles about the G-Star School:
