The Inkworm Media Game Night and Business Networking Meetup is designed to give game lovers—everyone, really—an opportunity to try out our brand new line of exciting board games, comment on them afterward and perhaps promote them through word-of-mouth and/or social networking.
It also gives business owners and entrepreneurs a chance to meet and network with each other and perhaps promote their own businesses—therefore, be sure to bring along plenty of business cards. After all, you just might meet a potential business contact!
If you're both, however, that's a plus—because not only do you get the chance to promote your own business and so on, you also get the chance to have fun with your new business contacts. After all, isn't it easier to find potential customers and clients from among people you know than from cold calling? Of course, that is not to say that you have to be a business owner or entrepreneur to attend.
Above all, everyone involved gets to have fun! Remember the old saying: it's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game. That statement is true, not just in playing games, but also in business.
So, come on out and have fun, and prepare to don your best game face!
