Our friends at GAKUNOWA present Na mo Nai Kizuna (Unseen Ties) Project in aid of Tohoku, North East Japan! It's an early start from 3pm with just £3 entry/donation. My J-Rock band (half the band are Japanese), Colors will also be performing later on at the event. There are plenty of awesome Japanese performers and DJ's throughout the evening. Please note this is a social rather than a language exchange - though I'm sure there might be plenty of opportunities anyway!
As part of a worldwide project we're going to kick off this event at 3pm with live bands, DJ's and free sushi courtesy of our friends at TK TRading. Then at around 10PM we will sing the song Na mo Nai Kizuna (Unseen Ties) and upload our rendition to channels such as USTREAM in an effort to send our support to the people of the Tohoku disaster area. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKVYxCpzn8o

This event will be broadcasted to the whole world via. Ustream on the day/night!

Our special guest Japanese actress/singer Naomi Suzuki will be gracing us all with her presence and we will also be inviting members of a Tohoku disaster support group to reflect upon what we can also keep doing from now on for the victims of the triple earthquake/tsunami/nuclear disaster 2 years ago.
People from countries all around the world will be singing their support for Japan so let's do our best and make this event into something really special!
Konnichiwa, This is the Japanese/English meetup, on the second Tuesday of each month, UPSTAIRS at the Slug and Lettuce. This is for Japanese people learning English who want to practice, and for people learning or with a strong interest in Japanese.
