A little too crowded for my liking, but I did manage to meet 2 very cool people. Hopefully, I will pluck up the courage to speak to more of you next time.

I arrived around 8.30, I see about 30 people standing outside, the place is packed as hell. I'm wondering if I can even enter the place. I go inside and there is the usual little groups of people talking to each other, I get a drink and spend an hour or so alone. On getting my second drink I managed to start a conversation with someone. If you go on your own and have trouble starting conversations with strangers, it's not going to be easy.

I only drank 3 pints this time

Last time I came to this was in February , the good thing was I met with someone who introduced me to a weekly Japanese. The bad was I drank 8 pints of Guinness and felt like complete garbage, I will drink less this time

I don't speak or write a word of Japanese. Does this matter?

    September 9, 2013

    • Paul

Hi if you have a genuine interest in learning Japanese or Japan itself then you are welcome to come. This is an informal event rather than structured learning. Plenty of Japanese people do attend though, and I'm sure some would appreciate some English conversation as well.

Could you please confirm if this is a free event? Thanks.

    August 15, 2013

Hi Jack, there is no formal charge. There is just a £1 voluntary contribution which helps for events where we need to pay to cover security or equipment (e.g cdj's) for some of our events.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
