"Let's learn Japanese" lessons

On Mondays our members Shoko and Ikuyo have volunteered to guide us through Japanese lessons!

Location is at McD's on Camelback and 16th St. It has a quiet area and should be a good atmosphere for lessons. All levels are welcome, and even if you are a native speaker (or near native!) you can join in on the fun.

You know you want to communicate better in Japanese! This is a way to do it inexpensively with native speakers! Then we can really make our group even better when we have our meetup in JAPAN!

We chip in for $5 each per hour for the volunteers. I will do my best to keep arrangements current (location, etc.) and give you contact information. Feel free to contact us or leave comments/suggestions. smile

Note:  There are some regulars who don't always sign up so there may be attendees even if none is listed.  If not you may get a one-on-one lesson! :-)

I appreciate the suggestions, but I can't really even afford the $5, I'd be borrowing it, I'm disabled and am still waiting on SSI, so paid instruction is unfortunately not an option even after I get SSI. Med bills too high for extras like that. >_< And I can't drive this far with my disorder. Thank you anyway though!

Hi Lauren, yes, the instructors live in this area, so yes it is always there. You might check with Comerging Language (one of our sponsors). They have done a similar meetup in the west valley once or twice. Also, they are an option for paid instruction, as is Le Tutor in the East Valley (also a sponsor), see links at the left.

I was looking back at all the previous meetups, is this one always at this location or does it ever change occasionally?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
