The Japanese Study Group and Socializing meetup

    • Konnichiwa,

    • Meet and mingle with fellow Japanese Speakers & Culture Lovers! Come to the Meetup to meet other Japanese language enthusiasts or to enjoy conversation.

We have 2 kind of Tables. One is  for socializing and another is for learning grammar and basic skill of Japanese.

The beginner's table will start at 12:30pm . It would help people to learn grammar and basic skill of Japanese.
We will study Chapter 9 of Japanese for busy people.

This group is open to all levels of comprehension. If you are beginning or intermediate, come and build your skills, and if you're pera-pera, come stay sharp. If you're somewhere in between, this would be a good opportunity improve your Japanese!

    Don't sweat it

    1) look for a long table. If there is no indication of a long table, 2) look for people who have papers and/or books regarding Japanese. If you don't see any, 3) look for nametags. If you can't find any, 4) ask the restaurant staff since they will know about it. If they can't help you, then you are probably at the wrong place. Newcomers have never had problems figuring out how to participate so don't sweat it.

Will there be any way for us to identify who's a part of this and who's not once we arrive at said cafe? I don't want to approach a random stranger and be like "So, how long have you been practicing"? That could get awkward real quickly.

I really need to get back into this. Sorry I'll have to miss this week. But I'll be at the Aki Matsuri at that time.
