Mitsuwa's Obon festival is August 6th.

Dance practice is scheduled in the Mitsuwa ballroom (way in the back, near the frozen foods) from 7-8pm for the following dates: 7/27, 7/29, 8/3, 8/5.

And they actually posted some more information on the website!

The season that fireworks adorn the night sky has come!
The most nostalgic, enjoyable event of year will come to Mitsuwa Marketplace.

"Water Balloons Scooping", "Japanese Toys", "Shooting Game", "Basketball Shooting",
"Mini Golf" and much more fun!
You surely could go back to your childhood. Let’s soak in the fun atmosphere of being kid again with your children.

Also, there will be full array of “Yatai”(food stands) to fill your empty stomach with a lot of tasty foods. Popular Japanese foods will be waiting for you.

There are four practices this year, I know two are on the Friday and Wednesday before the event. I'll throw some events up on here when I get the dates. I can't find them on the website.

Could someone tell me when and where the practices will be held this year? I'd like to attend one. I only remember one dance from last year (the workers' song that begins with digging). Thanks!
