Mitsuwa Market Area Japanese Language and Culture MeetUp Message Board › Bilinguals Wanted: Make Some Quick Cash in a Fun Research Study
|A former member||
Hi Japanese Language and Culture Meetup Group,
The Bilingualism Lab at Northwestern University is looking for bilinguals to participate in a research study that looks at how language affects social understanding.
The study lasts about 2 hours. The study can be run in the participant's home or at Northwestern University, or even at a neutral silent location, whatever the participant prefers. During the study, participants are asked to do several tasks, such as naming pictures, remembering numbers, and watching short video clips. Most of the tasks are quite easy and fun. At the end, the participant receives $30 cash for participating.
To be eligible, participants need to be highly proficient in two languages, need to have acquired both languages before they turned 20, need to currently use both languages on more or less a daily basis, and need to be at least 70 years of age.
If you or anyone you know is eligible and interested, contact Scott Schroeder at 847-894-8210 or NorthwesternLanguageStudy@gmail.com
