なに No, really. 私は日本の女性に会いたい。 LOL! Definitely my favorite words...if the grammar is correct. I could be saying "I'm a Japanese woman."
I travel to the Meetups from Beaumont. About 85 miles east & north of Houston. If you traveled to Louisiana from Houston via I-10 then you passed through Beaumont.
I saw a series of movies called "Lone Wolf and Cub" about twenty or so years ago starring Tomisaburo Wakayama. I still watch those series now. I was impressed with Japanese culture ever since then. Many things stood out such as the Japanese way of honoring people, their composure, respect of others...nothing is without meaning.
Beginner. I have just learned Hiragana and am not moving to Katakana and using the Genki series books.
I'm アレキサンダー スティーヴェン. My Japanese friends in Japan named me 誠. I have never been to Japan but of course want to go and maybe live there a while. I am from Beaumont born and raised and am attached to the Japanese culture. 気をつけて
I am glad I found this group. Akira's goal for this group will greatly contribute to anyone serious about studying the Japanese language.
