Round 52: Japanese Language Exchange & Study Support Group

  • February 15, 2014 · 2:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We will have a change of timing this time : To facilitate dinner plans, This round will be at 2 PM

If you are new, don't be shy not to drop by have a nice tea and just chat away. ( Most of us dont usually bite ψ(`∇´)ψ )

Or if you don't feel comfortable you can always get someone who looks friendly to help start a conversation.
Oh try to commit so that at least I can figure out the number of tables we will be occupying 0.0

The usual (not compulsory) we would have 二次会(Second Round Namely Dinner)

Followed by 三次会(Third Round namely minor drinking) Minor drinking

To new friends who are thinking of joining us | 参加しようと思っている初めての方々:

This is a gathering for people who are interested in the Japanese Language. You should preferably be learning it or have a strong intention of doing so in the near future. There will be "seniors" here who can guide you in your learning or offer you advice. Not only a cultural exchange between many nationalities, this is first and foremost a LANGUAGE exchange group, so be prepared to speak some words of Japanese and hear lots of it. Fluent speakers should also seize the opportunity to practise using Japanese as much as you can.

FAQ: Can I get your contact number just in case I can't find you?

Since its a 2-5+ PM you are welcome to drop by, we will still very likely be there, so get lost and search for our group for a while, I don't believe in giving out contacts to people I haven't met before yet (Usually).:)

Greetings everyone, as a trial feature that we are considering to implement in our regular meetups, I will be providing short (one-page ) articles for us as topic materials. This shall be good for everyone to start chatting, and can be good material for our beginner/intermediate Japanese/English learners. The articles are not difficult (probably JLPT N3-N4 level). I shall personally supervise on this. Help on this from you awesome members is definitely welcomed! See you on Saturday!

It will be like a lot of talking but do note that you have to approach to learn , if you don't approach, you can't speak and it will be harder for anyone to help be it a Japanese speaker or Japanese :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
