Dallas Japanese Monthly Meetup

This is our main monthly meet up held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the KAZE Sushi and Hibachi Japanese Restaurant, located at the corner of Greenville & Walnut Hill Lane, north of the Bank of America on Greenville.

This meetup is primarily for exchanging Japanese/English language skills and for sharing Japanese related books, magazines, travel photos, etc, while having great Japanese/Asian food and drinks (not required).

Attendees should have an interest in speaking Japanese or the Japanese culture, however Japanese fluency is NOT required to attend.  We usually rap up shortly after 9pm, but people come and go whenever they can make it and Kaze stays open until 10pm.

LOCATION DETAILS

KAZE Sushi and Hibachi Japanese Restaurant is ocated right behind the Bank of America at the corner of Greenville & Walnut Hill Lane, not far from Walnut Hill Lane & Hwy 75.  It's also not far from the DART Walnut Hill Station on the Red and Orange Lines.  There is a lot of parking, large sitting areas, and great food and drinks.

Aloha Dallas Japanese Family. Thanks for allowing me to hang with you guys in September. I just wanted to share with you that last week our Honolulu Japanese Meet Up went to see this documentary, Hafu,http://hafufilm.com/en/. It was very interesting and the discussion after the film was even more lively from both Japanese and non-Japanese. ほんに面白いです!また遊びましょう!

I finally watched this video and it was definitely short, sweet and to the point!! It really is a shame that bullying, segregation and racism still exists today! :( There is so many unique things we can learn from ppl of different races n cultures...if we can just take off our prejudices and open our eyes, ears and hearts! I do everyday! ^_^
