This is the event for a person who want to learn Japanese from scratch. If you think "I want to travel to Japan some day, I want to enjoy more of manga, anime and J drama in Japanese." just come join us.

Lesson なにぬねの ナニヌネノ
the lesson of today it is NA NI NU NE NO.
learn how to pronounce, write KANA and check the words.

instead of the alphabet, Japanese uses KANA. There are two kinds of KANA-
HIRAGANA is used for the traditional sound of Japanese. KATAKANA is used for words that were borrowed from other languages.
Both kana sets are what you use when you first learn Japanese.
Knowing these are really important to learn and speak Japanese.
Japanese is a phonetic language. if you study KANA it's much easier to speak Japanese.
Now let's begin practicing.

Japanese people, Please participate too !!
また、日本語学習のヘルプが出来る、 ご自身が英語を学習中、その他日米友達が欲しい等どんな理由でもかまいません。日本人の方の参加もお待ちしています。

Asking that question would appear as if studied Japanese, wouldn't it? Actually, I'm preparing to study Japanese eventually but I'm studying Traditional Chinese Characters (hanja) via Korean. It helps to study Kanji as the difference is 90%. But I forgot all the hiragana and katakana hehe. Back to the basics!!

First time I have committed to something requiring leaving the house except spades since I started my shoulder nightmare last fall. Doing much better. No longer living on pain meds. Still spending lots of time rehabbing and ice packing shoulder.

Had a smoldering interest in all things Asian but especially Japanese since I ate ant that Japanese steak house, had no clue what I ate but was among the best meals I can remember. So the fire never went out.

The Japanese gardens in the Fort Worth Botanitical played a sizeable role in my interest in Japanese.

So I am tentativelycommitting to coming even though I am on call. With the stuff I am on call for some insist it is life and death. So if the phone rings you lose but more importantly I lose because I really want to check this out. Hope I do not have trouble finding you. I will be wearing a Texas Rangers baseball cap or a DFW Spades meetup group. hat.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
