Are you Japanese, or do you have Japanese family or friends?

If you got a chance to visit Japan or live there, where would you go?

Kyoto, for sure. The country side and small towns and villages are a must, too. Tokyo is a given.

What made you interested in learning the Japanese language or culture?

I've been drawn to the country since I can remember. I guess like most people my age, anime has been a bridge into the culture, but what has captured me is the history and old world traditions. I love Kimono, the dances, and the rituals.

Hiya! I'm interested in learning the Japanese language and very much interested in traditional Japanese customs and culture. I have just started learning basics on my own, so my knowledge is extremely limited, but its a process I'm enjoying much.
