I was born, raised, and currently reside in Syracuse.
What is your interest in Japan? (If you are Japanese, you don't have to answer this one...?)
Originally, I just wanted to learn more about other cultures. I decided to learn about Japan for a good number of reasons. Currently, I enjoy J-pop, doramas, and feel good comedies. They are rare here, and I wish cds and dvds werent so expensive.
What level of Japanese do you speak (beginner, intermediate, advance, non-speaker)
I am still somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I am also really slow... And even slower when I have to look up words.
Have you been to Japan? / Are you from Japan?
I have never been to Japan, but I hope to someday travel (and maybe even backpack) throughout Japan. For starters, I would really like to visit Nikko, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Yanagawa.
