RAW Image Processing with Lightroom 5; 10am-2pm MST

  • Mar 2, 2014 · 10:00 AM
  • GoToMeeting Live Webinar via Internet

Processing RAW Files with the Lightroom 5 Develop Module

When: Sunday, March 2nd, 10am Mountain Time (Denver, GMT -7)

Where: Online (web-based) class via GoToMeeting (Live Class)

You will receive instructions via a separate email prior to the meeting time for how to join the online conference. You'll see my computer screen in real-time and you don't need to be running Lightroom or other software to participate. You will need a microphone to ask questions via your computer, otherwise you can use a telephone to join the audio conference.

Whether you're a novice just getting started or a long-time digital photographer making the move to Adobe's Photoshop Lightroom 5, there are numerous tips and tricks to make your journey into RAW editing more enjoyable. In this class, I'll teach you the mechanisms behind Lightroom's tools to make them easier to understand and use so your images will look great.

This class covers RAW image processing with Lightroom 5

In this live online session, I'll cover the fundamentals of setting up the Lightroom 5 Develop Module for optimal RAW processing regardless of your camera. I'll also cover some workflow tips and tricks for photographers moving to Lightroom from other RAW editing software. We'll then move to the Develop Module, where I'll show you how to process your images for maximum impact and a streamlined workflow.

Each participant in this class will be able to join the live audio conference and ask me questions directly in real-time. You'll also get a full PDF package of all the class notes..

To attend this course, you'll need a computer with a broad-band Internet connection and speakers. To participate in the live conversation, you need either a microphone on your computer or a telephone line to call the dial-in number (US toll rates may apply).

Ok, just signed up, been a big fan of CaptureNX2 but since it seems to be going away, I guess it's time to learn Lightroom. Looking forward to the Webinar!

    Hi all-
Due to the length of this class (4 hours), I'm unable to record and distribute it. Too much bandwidth. I will offer it again for sure.

Thanks, Jason. I think I'll wait for the next time, as I would have to miss about an hour of the class. Next time!

    Jason, hi!
I have something scheduled at 10:45 Pacific time, so I would have to cut out at 10:35. Are you going to be recording this session?

I can't make this on Sunday. Any chance you will put this out as a video download like you did with your Photo Mechanic/Lightroom workflow program?

  • Emelyn M.

Wish I could, but I already have other plans.

Same here - I need to get up to speed on LR and will look for a future date.

I wish I could attend this, but it conflicts with something else that day. Given Nikon's CNX 2 announcement, I hope you offer this again.
