promises.then(grunt).done();

Greetings javaScript enthusiasts! After a long and painful Winter, Spring rebounds in all its vernal glory, bringing with it warmth and rebirth and the return of the javaScript.io meetup.

For this confabulation Josh will expound up on a subject briefly touched upon by Evan at our last meet-up, Promises. In his talk Josh will demonstrate how to put this useful pattern to work improving the efficiency of your asynchronous code, along with providing some helpful tips and tricks. If nothing else, Josh's talk will provide some context to this meet-up's title.

Also, Howard will deliver a presentation on Grunt.js, an extremely useful task automation framework. His talk will provide an overview, along with examples of common, and perhaps a few not-so common, tasks this utility enables.

Both of these discussions should be applicable to front-end and back-end development alike.

As always, your input is welcome, we look forward to seeing you all.

    Are you going to post presentation slides/code? I have last minute projects and can't make it. Thanks.
