Hi,

Non-technical (for now) founder of a startup, GoodToGoOut, learning Ruby, then starting RoR in July, and then looking to move on to new languages, such as JavaScript. Was looking to create a bookmarklet for my web app and wanted to see about understanding the process a bit more, both the creation and what it would take to keep making updates to the bookmarklet as functionality on the site changes / progresses. As well, potentially interested in finding and contracting a JavaScript developer to help me implement the bookmarklet.

Any ideas where I can start, recommendations for people to talk to, or anything at all to get me started on wrapping my head around this and moving forward?
