Hello All,

As a company ebay is transitioning from Java applications towards JS and Node. To that end, you may know about our recently open-sourced Kraken.js framework for building Node applications.

One of our great challenges is that new technologies require a new type of Front-end Engineer.

We are looking for folks with experience working on user facing and JS-based web apps who can help shape our architecture and what web application engineers are at ebay in the future. Bridging the gap requires application engineers who are passionate about products and experiences! If you are such a person and ready for a new and exciting challenge please contact me (csmittle@ebay.com)

In the meantime, please watch Bill Scott’s Fluent Talk to learn more about our technology shift at ebay & PayPal: http://bit.ly/1g4QMsv...

Thank you,
Cherie Smittle
