"Hello to Summer!" Cookout at Randy and Marie's House

  • June 11, 2011 · 12:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Let's get together to welcome the arrival of Summer with a cookout, fun games and great friendship! Randy and I will provide chicken burgers, 1/2-pound hamburgers and buns. We'll also have cheese, ketchup, mustard and mayo (Miracle Whip), but no other "extras". Please bring a side item, desired burger topping or beverage to share, posting what you plan to bring here as soon as possible so we can all stay on the same page and not over-duplicate.

Alcohol will be BYOB as usual.

We have numerous strategy, card and social games, but there are still many we don't have! Feel free to supplement by bringing common favorites like Apples to Apples, Catch Phrase and Five Crowns. Any games you'd like to bring are welcome and appreciated, and if you'd like to bring a new game or learn one of ours, we're more than happy to oblige!

Can't wait to see you all soon!

Marie and Randy

*NOTE that there is no Waiting List for this event! Who-hoo!! Everyone can come and go as they please starting at noon on Saturday. :D

Loved the breadless bread, the thickest burgers I've ever seen, best food, and of course, the sangria! Had a wonderful time! Thanks for having me!

Looks like you could use lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions for the burgers.

I would say try to keep it to children over 12 as there won't be many games for them to participate in otherwise.

    I'll probably bring fruit.

Keep in mind that these meetups mostly adults and there may be some language that you may not want a child to hear.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
