Christmas Cheer Game Meetup at Ro's House

  • This location is shown only to members

Don't have any plans for Saturday the 10th? Get together for fun and games during the holiday season at Ro's house!! No caroling, special dress code or gift exchange needed -- just bring your own Holiday self to enjoy playing some games with friends.

Ro has numerous great games. =) However, as always, feel free to bring your own games to learn or help us learn.

Please bring a snack, side item, drink or munchie to share. Older youths capable of participating in game play are welcome.

Volunteers for set-up and clean-up are greatly appreciated! In Particular anyone who can do some light furniture moving beforehand would be a great help!! Alcohol will be BYOB.

Any questions, please call me on my cell (the sooner the better) at[masked]-3646. Unfortunately I won't be able to make this one, but my new husband Randy will go as my representative! Just kidding.

I have not laughed that much in a long time! Very, very fun!
If you didn't come, you missed the werewolves ... ;-)

It was a small, but very fun meetup. Lots of laughter and cheer, and even some mangled and "twisted" Christmas caroling. There was even some dancing! Should I mention the *ahem!* INTERESTING video game we played?? Good food, good fun, good people. Thanks everyone for making it a great Christmas meetup, and for everyone's help with set-up and break-down.

GREAT night with a great mix of people! All the "cheer" from that game meetup should last me through the month of December. I loved the new games I played!!

and let's not forget about the chipmunks roasting on an open fire ... ;-) I'll bring my guitar. I haven't played in years, so I hope I won't be too terrible to listen to. LoL

More like Bob Rivers "Twisted Christmas," from his album of the same name (among others). One of my favorite songs is "Walking 'Round In Women's Underwear" ( sung to "Walking In A Winter Wonderland). Oh, and "Toy Sack" (sung to "Love Shack"). :)

A "twisted" Christmas caroling jam??? As in a Twisted Sister's Christmas???

Okay, I had to look up djembe! Cool! I have two guitars (one acoustic, one acoustic/electric), an out-of-tune baby grand piano, an electric keyboard, some kazoos, jingle bells, whistles, and wood flutes. Anyone can participate. You don't have to be good at singing or playing to jam -- it's more fun and laughter when we sound bad! lol! We can do a "twisted" Christmas caroling and jam, so we don't have to worry about being too serious for anyone. We can jam towards the end of game playing.

Yay, jam session! I have a djembe, and Casey plays guitar. Just to note, we're keeping the snack light - veggie tray... these holiday snacks are starting to show! :/

Well, we MIGHT do some caroling! In fact, we could do a Xmas caroling and jam session. If you have an instrument, bring it, and play along. :)
