Who is should join? People who like to read and discuss a variety of interesting thought provoking books. Women are welcome! Men are welcome! Nonfiction and fiction, backlist and recent books appear on virtually list, you choose the book you want to read. If you start one and don't much care for it, just switch to another selection. People from any and all backgrounds, welcome! Whether you remember the Great Depression or you were born during the Clinton administration, if you're a grown-up who likes to meet and chat with other adults with wide ranging interests, you are welcome. If you came to Jacksonville from any part of our big varied planet, or if you were born at the confluence of the St Johns River and the Atlantic Ocean and think anything away from the First Coast is exotic travel, YOU ARE WELCOME.
We have two slightly different meeting formats, the dinner meeting with a set book list, and the Saturday coffee shop meeting with free choice within a broad topic.
