What book(s) have you read recently that would make a great basis for stimulating conversation?

Lately I have been reading philosophical books. Right now I am reading 'The pursuit of unhappiness.'

What's your favorite nonfiction book ever?

Oh my. I read a biography of Ben Franklin that I loved because I thought Ben Franklin was a lovable character. I read 'Without a paddle' that I loved because it was an easy read and I could relate to his experiences

What's a novel that you read for a high school or college requirement that really stayed with you?

My memory isn't so good. If I can't recall all the details, I assume the book wouldn't meet the requirements of this question. I vaguely remember liking some existentialist novels.

I want to read more.
