What book(s) have you read recently that would make a great basis for stimulating conversation?

Manana Means Heaven Being There

What's your favorite nonfiction book ever?

I have too many to name, I still am enthralled w/Richard Burtons Biography & how much he read. This past two weekends ago, I had a long discussion w/a bookshoppe owner in St Augustine about The Rape Of Nanking & Iris Chang & her subsequent suicide, I was purchasing two books at her shop. One on Factory Girls in China.

What's a novel that you read for a high school or college requirement that really stayed with you?

The Town & The City Jack Keroauc I found it at a thrift shoppe along w/On The Road~to this day ~ I keep The Town & The City near my bed, along w/To Kill Mockingbird & My Books of Rimbaud,

I am a reader, as Ted Kopple once said, we are a dying breed.
