The last event was such a success, I was able to convince the owners of the Speakeasy to open it up early again for us on May 30th.
For people who don't know about it, It’s at a small, medium to upscale Speakeasy downtown that is unadvertised; it is known only by word of mouth. it has a 1920's prohibition theme. (Back when there were laws prohibiting alcohol, so hidden clubs sprung up all over the place). It is located near Orange and Pine in downtown Orlando. Tr3.0 Jazz Trio will be performing.
Here's what you need to do to come to the Meetup, even if you know the location and phone number from last time.
1) you need to RSVP by entering your email address here:
We will email you back the location near Orange and Pine where the place is located, along with the updated phone number that allows you to get into the place (they text you back a confirmation)
2) When you arrive, ask for the Speakeasy...you'll be directed to a fancy, unmarked door at the location -- which is very attractive and nicely kept. And it is legitimate, licensed etcetera :)
Admission is free, but as always, we would appreciate it if you would purchase a drink or two to support live jazz. The venue serves drinks but not food – so come thirsty but not hungry!
There is parking nearby -- either free on the street, or in assorted lots close to Orange and Pine near downtown.
Hope to see you there – feel free to ask questions -- I'll disclose as much as I can here.
