[Note: This meetup is not hosted by me, Martha, despite my photo appearing under our RSVPs.  If you go, have a great time without me, take pics and post them here for all of us, please! I went in June 2014 and was impressed by the high caliber jazz musicians who jammed.  Special thanks to Farrell for tipping me off to this weekly jazz jam happening!]

Hey all, Just wondering if there are any jazz musicians that live in the Folsom/El Dorado Hills area that would be interested in forming a combo. I play guitar and my son plays Alto sax. We are into Miles, Brubeck as well as original tunes penned by me. email me at bob [dot] sacco at gmail [dot] com if you are interested.

Hello everyone, I am very sad to report that I will be unable to host this evening. I just received notice that I need to do two presentations tomorrow for work, so I will be working this evening for sure! Hope to meet you all another time and that you still go and report back how it was.

Does the Jason Galbraith Quartet play any brubeck or Miles Davis?

Not certain, but attended and would guess is more toward the Miles style, than Brubeck.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
