Let's Jam!

Would like to put together a group of 10 to 20 musicans to play big band music, just for fun! We will play a combination of jazz, swing, and Big Band. Looking for traditional members of a big band: alto/tenor/b-sax, trombone, bass, guitar, keyboard, drummer, trumpets. I would like to emphasize that I am looking to make this a fun and light experience for everyone. I would envision that we will eventually meet semi monthly or weekly. All skill levels welcomed.

This is just getting off the ground so we are probably several weeks away from an initial meet-up as we collect music and members. As soon as we get a critical mass, we will meet. Please be on the lookout for potential players.

The ultimate goal is to play for our own enjoyment but also eventually some public venues such as park performances or perhaps the new pavilions on the Katy Trail.
