I want to bring Jazz musicians together in homes, churches, schools, libraries and halls to experience the true essence of Jazz. The free expression of jumping in when ever you have an idea, playing from the band stand, joining when the spirit leads, singing a few bars, etc.  Without censor, criticism, judgement, lists, announcements, silly jokes and sell promotion.

I want to get back to the days of Lester Young when Billie Holiday sang and everyone in the band had a chance to perform. Total freedom of expression and creativity.

I need a place to do this with this group and expand to other musicians. The Astoria Sound Studio is too small and they don't have a Grand Piano.  I am going to reach out to other venues so if you have any ideas, please let me know.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
