Making Books Sing, in conjunction with The Louis Armstrong House Museum and The Aaron Copland Music School at Queens College, presents the world-premiere "play with music" production of LOUIS ARMSTRONG: JAZZ AMBASSADOR. Step into a speakeasy setting while a live jazz ensemble accompanies Louis as he stops, considers and accepts the joys and pains he endured in his life as talented jazz musician and US ambassador during the Civil Rights era. A special talk-back series called, "Louis's Life" with Ricky Riccardi, archivist at The Louis Armstrong House Museum, will follow the performance.
Tickets for groups of 8 or more persons are $15/adult and $10/child.
