As fun as banana, cream, ice cream, and chocolate crepes and midnight pizza are, I worry.


I fell off the wagon recently (with no real consequence as I am young and full of testosterone), but am going to go cold turkey on the unhealthy food and lazing around. Recent studies have shown that the addictive effects of the former match those of hard drugs.

From July 1 to 31 I am going to post what I ate, what physical activity I did, and how I feel for that day. Maybe I'll add some ruminations or ramblings.

Going to lead by example here so, yeah.

In a show of support, solidarity, and camaraderie, I will do similar. I'm cutting down on my portion sizes when I eat already. I'm cutting down on my beer and coffee consumption and avoiding the junk food as best I can. In addition, I'm walking/running around my local track. Or at least I would be if the thunder storms would stop.

Had a bowl of plain oatmeal and a mug of green tea for breakfast.

Went outside and ran 2 miles. Shin splints are awesome(ly painful).

Lunch is a can of tuna with a few drops of tabasco, some rice, and an apple.

Did sets of pushups to failure.

Made a protein shake from a scoop of vanilla flavored powder and 1% milk.

Having omurice for dinner as I finish this post.

Breakfast: One scrambled egg, slice of whole wheat toast, cup of milk

Lunch: An apple and protein shake

Dinner: curry rice [with takuan, olives]

Cardio- Ran 3 miles. Will do interval sprints tomorrow

Resistance- Sets of deadlifts to failure. Bench press tomorrow

Feeling slightly sore from yesterday. Shin splints not as bad today
Lower back's going to ache tomorrow.

Breakfast: Bowl of cereal (cheerios)

Lunch: egg, mackerel, some rice

Dinner: mapo doufu and protein shake.

Cardio- 400m sprint x3

Resistance- 5 sets of 10-15 bench press (light weight)

Breakfast: Skipped. Didn't wake up early enough for it lol

Lunch: strawberry poppyseed and chicken salad from panera bread

Dinner: Protein shake, a banana, tuna sandwich

Exercises: Jogged 2 miles (walked 2), 200 situps.

Feeling good. In between sets of situps I watched a couple minutes of anime.. A~kariiiin!
I should be upping my calorie intake (not with bad food though); will work on that tomorrow on.

Beautiful fireworks today :]
