The Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest is proud to debut the first Israeli Jazz and World Music festival in Chicago, featuring the Rafi Malkiel Quintet.
Composer and trombonist Rafi Malkiel, originally from Israel, is an active musician in both the Jazz and Latin scenes in New York City. Leading his quintet, Rafi plays original compositions, as well as unique arrangements fusing Jazz and Latin-American standards with Afro-Caribbean rhythms.

The Old Town School Parking Lot is just south of our East Building at 4545, just behind the City Lot (you have to go through the city lot to get to it). Cost is $6 with credit card, or $3 with tokens. (You can get your $1 tokens at the cash only machine near our front desk inside 4544 North Lincoln, or pay at the gate by credit card.
