Rosh Hashannah & Yom Kippur

Please join us for services this High Holiday Season 5773. Central Synagogue would like to extend an invitation to you to come and share in this special time of year.

We are a warm and welcoming Conservative, egalitarian congregation that is open to the community at large. We are a friendly group and enjoy meeting new people and welcome singles, couples, and families.

Services are led by Hazzn Rabbi Shlomo Shuster and Hazan Toby Lou Hayman

Service Schedule:

Sunday 9/16 - Erev (evening) Rosh Hashanah
Monday 9/17 - 1st Day Rosh Hashannah
Tuesday 9/18 - 2nd Day Rosh Hashanah
Tuesday 9/25 - Yom Kipur Evening, Kol Nidre
Wednesday 9/26 - Yom Kippur, Morning thru Break-Fast


Ticket Information:

Tickets are required and must be arranged ahead of time via phone.
Note: Please call us at[masked] to make an official rsvp no later than 10 days prior.
~ Students and Young Professionals are invited to join us complimentary as we are part of the Unite Synagogue's Project Reconnect Come Home for the High Holidays and if you wish you can make a donation of what you can afford.
~ Regular Ticket prices are $295 per person.
~ For Jewish Chicago Meetup Members only attending for the first time, just give us a call us for special pricing.


Tickets and the full time schedule will be mailed to you along with discount parking information if needed. 

As our services are advertised in many places, there will naturally be more people coming than as rsvp'd here, though we will provide approximate counts in our guest numbers which range from[masked] on any given day and service.  If you have any other questions about anything please don't hesitate to give us a call at[masked]

Parking at Water Tower Place Garage - up to 4 hours is $11 with validation
For High Holidays there will be additional discounted parking for anything over 4 hours

Via Public Transit, take the CTA Red line to the Chicago stop and walk 3 blocks East to Michigan and then one block north. Or take the numerous express/local buses that go to North Michigan Ave, 145, 146, 147, 151, 3, 66 and others.

You do not need to be a member of Central Synagogue
or any Meetup to attend this or any of our other events.
