Assembling an Interview Packet

So, you've landed an in-person interview. Now what? Time for the interview packet. Perfect place for a shiny copy of your resume, overview of your skill set, work samples, and recommendations. We'll walk you through assembling an interview packet and review content, tools, and techniques.

Notes about our venue:  Rogue Ale House provides space for our presentations free of charge as a service to the community.  Because of the serving of alcohol on the premises, our presentations are restricted to those who are 21 or older and can produce valid proof of age if requested.  Also, we request that outside food and drink are not brought into Rogue, as we would currently be forced to shut down this service if Rogue decided that we were no longer welcome.

I'm enjoying these Meetups and finding them very helpful. Though I've gleaned some of the points from Web research, it's nice to see it come together in more of a system. Wish I'd have found this group a year ago. Ron, I agree to an extent - but I've gathered up the equipment to do these packages fairly inexpensively. Someone with a rock-solid resume' with tons of relevant experience may not benefit as much as someone like me.

I'm a career-changer and I'm also evidently "old" (I'm still not sure how THAT happened...) A nice polished interview packet should help demonstrate that I know may way around a computer a bit. And I can't help but think that it'll freak out the interviewer just a bit and make me more memorable.

Better this time I was closer to speaker and monitor. Good topic. I think packet could be more content than polished expensive delivery.
