Interview Tactics

If you want almost any job, you have to be able to ace interviews.  We'll talk about the interview life cycle, from the initial phone screening interview at the beginning to how to properly express thank yous at the end.  We will cover how to skillfully steer an interview down the path you want.  We also get into questions that you might receive in an interview, including those that are inappropriate or seemingly don't have a good answer. We also cover the value of informational interviews and how to go about getting them.

Notes about our venue:  Rogue Ale House provides space for our presentations free of charge as a service to the community.  Because of the serving of alcohol on the premises, our presentations are restricted to those who are 21 or older and can produce valid proof of age if requested.  Also, we request that outside food and drink are not brought into Rogue, as we would currently be forced to shut down this service if Rogue decided that we were no longer welcome.

I was there but couldn't find parking and left. If anyone has a good suggestion of parking, I'd like to learn. I'm not familiar in Portland.

I was there but couldn't find parking, then left. Parking is a challenge for me in Pearl District.
