My name is Arlene.
Considering that this is an employment networking group, please share who you are, what you do and what you are looking for in your next employment opportunity. BRENG looks forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
I have a little over ten years program management. My strengths are in implementation, planning, coordination, facilitation, and evaluation of program initiatives geared to empower, equip, and educate individuals towards increased sustainability and employment options. Working with the underserved and unemployed in the community to help build work-readiness skills. Unfortunately, non-profits are hit very hard in this economy and my staff and I were affected.
How long have you been out of work?
About two months now.
What town do you live in?
I live in Bridgeport.
What are you currently doing in your efforts to find job opportunities?
I am applying for open positions, staying connected to my contacts on LinkedIn, etc.
Are you currently attending any other networking groups? If so, which ones?
I probably will be joining other networking groups however I have not identified which ones as yet.
