Why: Books & Seminar
Now, understand quickly what it is a headhunter does. I don’t find people jobs. I don’t help people get jobs. I don’t tell people how to get jobs. I get paid by my clients to go in to their competitors and extract their very best people by offering them a chance to work for a better company. So what I do really, is try to get an already employed person to quit their current job. Doesn’t seem like I’m really helping anyone does it?
I get people jobs, everyday, in less than twelve days.
I recently read about 3 paragraphs of a book claiming to be able to get you a job in less than 30 days. Another I glanced at was to the effect of "How to write the perfect resume". Both composed by two brilliant writers, one who was a Psychologist in the same office for 35 years, another a 24 year old MBA student who worked in the Career Development office at Harvard. How many times do you think they've gotten themselves (much less anyone else) a job, in less than 12 days?
Yep, Zero. Understand that the most credible people in the universe own several "been there, done that" t-shirts. Tony Robbins is an amazing relationship expert, not because he's clever, but because he went through a horrible divorce and learned a lot of lessons. Bill W. is the person that cult like groups of Alcoholics idolize as the example of recovery. Not because he is a PHD, but because he was a fall down - blackout drunk who figured out a way to stay sober. .
Fortune 500 Companies pay me 30% of the base salary of somebody that they hire utilizing my company. Salaries these days range anywhere from $300,000 to $1,000,000 per year. And no matter what the base salary, title, position or experience is required, the tactics do not change for finding and coaching the very best candidates for the job.
Do the math, and yes, I make between $90,000 and $300,000 every time someone I recruit gets hired. However, the fact of the matter is, is that professionally... I can't help someone who is unemployed. The Fortune 500 Companies that hire me don't pay me to find unemployed people. In their eyes, unemployed people are the ones who weren't worth keeping around. In their eyes, all of the "good" people still have jobs.
I know that you are good at what you do, I know that there are always circumstances that exist around why you quit, were let go, or even flat out fired. That doesn't change the fact that you are good at what you do, it just makes it harder to get a job.
This seminar is the equalizer. They give you a better advantage to getting a job than you would have on your own. The book will give you a rush of positive energy and confidence. I know that deep down inside, you are good at what you do, and so do you. "Get a Job in 12 Days, Guaranteed" will give you the tools you need to get someone else to listen to how good you are too.
