Inspiring, while putting our busy lives in perspective.
Some of the key points of the talk building on the feelings of loving kindness and compassion. The impermanence of emotions, stress and feelings combined with the interdependence of other cycles in our lives. How feeling positive or negative is a relative state and changes often, so it is important to keep it in perspective and not judge it.
The most important offering he had for us was to rest our minds and do the right work or study to attain it. There is no point searching the fields for a cow that you have locked in the barn. So it is with our lives, we search, study and complain about things outside us while the answers and solutions are within us.
Rinpoche also discussed how to meditate, building on the skills shared last year. He acknowledged in our busy lives we have many distractions and that all spiritual practices have value in assisting us finding a state of peace.
Thank you to those who attended.

Will put your summary in my silver book - great record of the entire talk. Rinpoche pointing out the importance of the "GAP" between breaths was invaluable, thanks for your input too Rick from Gavan

I only had 1000 characters so the meditation process missed out.

What a brilliant, clear and meaningful talk, " Ausies say no worries, but you are full of them". Maisie and I loved the delivery laced with polished humor, talked about it all the way home as knowledge from another world.

Not interested in hearing anti-Chinese CIA sponsored talk and having to pay $20 for it.

I have seen him speak before and he offers inspiring words to help everyone cope better. Few people actually make an effort to help other people.

Thanks, this is the sort of talk this group is about, and they can come and go while a busy life of stressful trivia charges on! It gives us something to look forward to.

I am able to join those already booked, and will let you know later how we can get together there before or after. Please ensure that you have bought your $20 ticket for the Friday night talk in case there are none available at the door. I look forward to seeing you there.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
