We've manifested a new meetup space - and we'd like you to help us break it in this coming Sunday, 23 February with a really special evening of guided meditation,  Gong playing, and a talk on Reality Creation!

Meet St Ethelburga’s, a true spiritual sanctuary in the heart of London...

Guided Meditation: 'The Golden Stream'

Standing on the banks of a golden stream, you feel a familiar inner presence guiding you to step into it's sparkling waters. Trusting this inner presence, you slowly wade into the water and feel an unexpected warmth that instantly washes through your mind and body, triggering a sense of deep inner peace and outer calm.

As you relax yourself fully into the nurturing waters of The Golden Stream, you feel yourself wanting, needing, desiring to completely let go to the flow.

Relaxing more and more, you begin to experience a subtle, yet profoundly powerful, energy flowing through every molecule of your being...

Now fully immersed in the currents of energy flooding through your mind and body, you feel all your worries, anxieties and fears, being washed away.

Floating gently down the stream, you feel a level of stillness rinsing across your consciousness as all your troubles drain away.

Come and be energised by the purifying waters of The Golden Stream!

Gong Playing with 42 Inch Gong

Straight after the end of the guided meditation, the gong will be played for a period of 30-minutes to help transport you into an ecstatic state of other-worldly-stilness.

The sound of the gong being played in the acoustic hallow of the church naive, will be an experience that will lift your body, mind and spirit to blissful heights.

Reality Creation Talk

After the guided meditation and gong playing, I'm going to give a short talk on reality creation...

During this talk, I'm going to share some ideas with you that will motivate you to take inspired action in creating the life you've always dreamed of... the life you deserve to experience!

RSVP NOW and Remember... we're meeting in a new venue space!

Really great Todd The whole evening was inspiring and your talk came totally from your heart centre. The gong is a wonderful meditation tool. If my home was bigger........... :-).
I thought the venue was excellent, complete with chairs, cushions and added chimes :-) (and of course the necessary facilities). What more could we want. Thanks Todd for yet another amazing meetup. Very much looking forward to the 24th. In love, light and many hugs. Helen xx

A very intriguing evening, thanks for the talk and for leading two very nice meditations I became extremely relaxed during both. The gong looks and sounds beautiful. I meditate daily and use visualisations a lot I often struggle to feel a connection with the universe or my energy but today, if nothing else, I was really chilled and it felt nice. Thanks again Todd.

Having read the above conversation about the new venue I would like to add that I agree with both points. I was never able to make Neal's Yard for various reasons so cannot compare and as a newbie to the group I didn't know anyone there but there did seem to be an impersonal atmosphere, possibly due to the seating arrangement as you pointed out. I loved the venue though, it has so much character, the bell amused me and the traffic noise wasn't really an issue for me during the meditations. I'll be back for sure, time permitting.

Hi Troy. Thanks for feedback. Yeah, I agree. It was our first meetup in this new venue, so a big learning curve. Next event we will arrange the seating crossways and it will be a much more personal experience. And yes, the bell amused me too... was perfectly timed twice :-)

As always, I do love the gong bath meditations and was thoroughly lost in space as always. I've been a fan of sound work (such as that by Jonathan Goldman) for a number of years now and always get great benefits from it.

However, and I'm probably going against the mainstream by saying this, I'm not a fan of the venue. Maybe I just believe that churches and spirituality don't mix ;)

Seriously though the after-talk just felt a little bit too impersonal and the ambience felt a little oppressive for me. I know that Covent Garden also gets hot and crowded, but when the temperature is right it just has such an amazing vibe to it.

Hi Paul. Thanks for the feedback about the new venue. I really do appreciate it. As an meet up organiser, I've learned the great axiom "you can't please everyone" is true. Neal's Yard is one of my all time favourite venues, however, because of the poor air quality and excessive heat in the room during the summer months, people stopped coming. It just gets too uncomfortable in there even in the autumn and spring due to body heat. I'm going to continue to use Neal's Yard on occasion, however, I'm going to give the new venue a chance... especially as I personally loved it. Nevertheless, I am going to arrange the seating crossways next time in a semi-circle to create the more intimate, personal feel you thought was missing during the talk portion of the night Paul. Together we can and will make this new venue a great success. And with the energy of spirituality - this church is going to feel it and the vibe WILL change too :-)

Well it wasn't so long ago I had to leave one of your talks at Neal's yard due to the sheer heat in the place, so yeah I get you completely.

Like I said, there's every chance it was just me, but I do like the idea of experimenting with the layout. :)

I'm sorry. I've sticked in my mind a start at 19.30. I will get more careful of that next time. Peace

Sorry Todd; I'm not going to make it. Have a great evening and being as you're off next weekend; have an awesome time in Ireland. You had better get the banana's delivered by the box I think :)

ooh the new place looks amazing, shamefully it will make it more difficult for me to be able to get there at almost every event.. :(

    2 · February 18, 2014

    • Todd A.

Ah, that makes more sense, Monica. I really love Neal's Yard, but at some point I needed to make the jump to a larger venue... its risky for me as it costs 3 x what Neal's Yard costs me, which means I can't run low cost meet ups, but I think I've decided I'll only be running one meetup a month for a while. Lots of love, Todd

      February 19, 2014

    • Monica S

Ah well if it's once a month I will definitely make it to all.. but how saaad! by the way, any chance you can tell us the location for the big bang as I can't find it anywhere and need to plan my week's schedule.. at least if you can tell me the area, closest tube station.. xx
