An Introduction to Spirituality

This meetup will take place at:

The Friendship Centre situated in the downstairs area at Bloomsbury Baptist Church on Shaftesbury Avenue

Directions and map can be found here...

Hi All

Introducing this speaker is a great personal honour for me.

Vafa Ram is more than my mentor and friend; he is one of the most inspirational people I have ever had the privilege to meet.

Vafa is one of the reasons why I became a spiritual teacher and guide!

If you've ever attended one of my talks or workshops, and you walked away feeling the experience served you then trust my judgement and come hear Vafa speak...

Love and Happiness

Todd

An Introduction to Spirituality from a Bahá’í Perspective

  • What do we mean by spirituality?
  • What are our spiritual powers and potentials?
  • How can we use these spiritual powers positively to impact ourselves and our environment?

This is an introduction and an overview of a series of seminars on Personal Development in the context of Spiritual Development.

These seminars aim to explore our spiritual dimension as human beings, based upon insights found in the teachings of the world’s major belief systems, including in the Bahá’í teachings. It explores how spiritual values espoused and expounded by the universal principles inherent in our reality, can direct and guide our life decisions.

The seminars will provide the opportunity for participants of all beliefs and persuasions to investigate a number of spiritual “landscapes” which are in harmony with scientific methods of enquiry, and to examine the subject of Personal Development.

Well done on your first talk on intro to spirituality, I enjoyed learning about the Bau's, especially about the stepping stone nature of religion and the correlation between religion and humanity's journey, it went really well.

It was a pleasure to hear Vafa speak again after all these years, it brought back many memories of sharing a series of 8 Friday evenings with a great bunch of people. I'd like to thank everyone who attended for having an open mind about listening to a modern religious perspective on spirituality. And deep gratitude to Vafa for being such a humble and authentic speaker!

Thank you both, Todd and Vafa! I knew a little about the Bahai religion but the talk this evening has inspired me to find out more. Fascinating, even for a (errant) Catholic like myself. I also appreciated the Q&As and was very sorry I couldn't stay until the end. Thanks again!
