Talk: The Vistas of Infinity with Jurgen Ziewe

Few of us would buy a ticket without knowing our destination, yet most of us are on a journey not knowing where it will take us.

Death is an inevitability seen by many as the final curtain, to be anticipated with fear and trepidation. But, unknown to us, we already have a foothold in ‘the other world’ simply by going to sleep at night. Few, however, have the ability to use it as a portal into a parallel universe.

Jurgen Ziewe, artist and author of the book, “Multidimensional Man”, has outlined a map illustrating where our ultimate journey will take us. Chronicling a lifetime of his Out-of-Body explorations, he describes in his book, his adventures into the vistas of infinity. Jurgen states that in front of us lies an infinite future, not a final abyss. With the mindset of an artist, he gives a graphic account of the sceneries we will encounter, the powers which will be at our disposal and the knowledge we will acquire.

Over a forty year period, Jurgen has built up a model of a multidimensional reality which, not only underpins our physical universe, but interacts with us every moment of our lives. He notes that, above all, that if we prepare ourselves now, starting from where we are at this moment, we will embark on a journey to our ultimate destination which will avoid many of the traumas and pitfalls unprepared people will encounter as they stumble into a new reality following their deaths.

Jurgen clears up many misconceptions, uncertainties, cliches and erroneous ideas about what our futures hold after we die. By showing us that the divisions between life and death are arbitrary, he provides us with a compass to navigate our lives as seamless realms of infinity.

You can also hear Jurgen speak at this coming Friday's Red Pill or Blue Pill Talk on Spirituality Reloaded as he will be giving a 30-minute taster talk at the end of the main talk.

Actually guys, thank you to you both (and Todd for having you down) - You have really cleared up some loose ideas in my understanding - excellent explanation, Jurgen, I do see how you describe it now and dam good explanation too. The "terms" can seem a little misleading, but that's just my own view, but yes I see how the "dream" can be more flexible. I think, what we are saying is that consensual belief fields create a sense of objectivity to the experience and dreams are less consensual :)

Stu, would be great if I could just say, "Try Virgin Media." The best I can say is give Todd a call and ask for an upgrade, otherwise DIY meditation.

That is a very nice way to put it and I like the revelations I our discussion

I see what your getting at Rory. The way i see things comes from my understanding of people being linked like computers to the web as in ones own consciousness is separate from and linked to the whole, the separation necessary in order to function as an individual piece within the whole. Lucid dreaming=individual computer, the OBE travels in the consensus reality of the whole web. I like to keep it simple so i can understand it. Great talk Jurgen nice one, i need to get broad band, any tips?

Mo, sorry, this is not the case. OBEs are relatively short. My longest OBE lasted about 6 hours (described in my book). This happened fairly early on in 1976. Back then I hadn't developed the method of bringing all the information across. That is the disadvantage of such long OBEs - retaining the experience. Such extended OBEs wouldn't be OBEs at all, but residing in a state of universal consciousness beyond physical awareness. I am not even close.

That wasn't Jurgen who had the 9 year experience, Mo...its someone who requested to remain anonymous...

Jurgen, your talk and illustrations were incredible. Thanks for taking the time at the end to sign your book for me. I wanted to ask you in the Q&A if its true that you once had an OBE that lasted for 9 years? If so then that absolutely blows my mind!!!

...yes, Jaspreet and Rory, and one could argue that from the viewpoint of consciousness there is no such thing as "inner" and "outer".

...book, “Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self”). He is a very inspired guy and I had lots of fascinating exchanges with him. I am looking forward to hear him speak as I am sure you will. The beauty off all this is that consciousness uses a multitude of conduits to manifest an awareness of our greater reality. It was such a pleasure being amongst kindred spirits. Thank you.

..about to butt in when Stu Reily took the words out of my mouth, or better said, consciousness got in there before me and activated Stu’s typing skills.

We have to remind ourselves that consciousness is only interested in experience and as we all seem to be in agreement the difference between apple and oranges is just a difference in taste. Todd has told me that he invited Lucid Dreamer Robert Waggoner to give a talk and he accepted (Robert is a psychologist and author of the...

Hi folks, first of all I would like to thank you all for coming to my talk. It would have been great to extend the Q&A and into a full discussion amongst us. Groups are great because consciousness then uses multiple conduits to seep through into physical awareness. It no longer cares who the speaker is, but joyfully embraces the fact that we have all opened ourselves to the higher awareness.
This also happened here on this threat with regard to the lucid dream vs OBE question. I was just...

Yes, agree with Stu there and agree with Jurgen's view too, good description. Only prob is you are still stuck with a dualism of "in" and "out" of body with these terms and that's a problem, at what point does physiology become a mental experience?
    Good luck answering that!
To me, the answer is that there is no physical/non physical transition and hence, how do you "leave a body?"
I agree with Jurgen's view, just not the term

I loved this talk. as always with such things one would have liked it to extend into the early hours with mucho craic but heyho you can't always get what ya want whato? Fantabulous for moi though, been looking for some worthy adventures away from the bright lights and heyho i found summit! It's great to find a group of folk who find such things as fascinating as i do. Hope to see you all around and maybe next time get to know some of you! As always when i hear an honest heart sharing their experiences of what is their is i felt a slight tinge of envy but heyho! It was great to see a fellow who could of been me dad talking such profound talk, no cloud of overwhelming patchouli either!!! Haha, great stuff i just need to gain some experience like Jurgen's and have that definite belief that no force of nature or cynicism could attempt to shake, it must be a fine blessing! Would have liked to dicuss the use of plant medicine etc etc and on and on, such fascinating stuff!

    Howdo folks,
The gist of the talk that came to me when discussing the differences of lucid dreaming and OBE's were that on one level lucid dreaming can seem superior as the dreamer can mold the action, events, characters and landscape etc because it's more of an internal experience in ones own subconscious! Where as the OBE explorer finds this much harder as one is exploring vistas which exist external to the explorer and adhere to the rule of a consensus reality of sorts! Innit? Fantabulous!

So inspiring and thought-provoking - already I'm finding myself giving so much more weight to my every day thoughts and how important they are. Feeling more empowered about this life and the future, and the visuals were stunning - thanks Jurgen!

Ps I thought he was a very good speaker with great insight and cheers to Todd for having him talk
Now let's all get this space growing :)

I think my concern is the language employed, in how it manifests experience
Out of body implies a dualism of being in your body in the first place and I'm not sure we can support that notion, bar common sense experience
My point is that these are just arbitrary terms offered by our own limited perspective and they don't really mean anything, it is like the numbers on a volume dial, ultimately they mean nothing as we all hear different sounds, it's all consciousness

The 'which is superior' lucid dreaming or OBEs argument must be settled once and for all! Right after the who was a better composer, Mozart or Beethoven, which is more beauitful sunrise or sunset and what tastes better, apples or oranges arguments!!!

The way I recall the incident, and having being positioned close by, was that Rory intentionally provided clear argument that LD is superior, and Jurgen conceded. No doubt the release of the promised audio recording will settle the matter.

The visual presentation by Jurgen was stunning, I hope he will repeat this again. But surprisingly, in the Q&A session afterwards, Rory challenged him, and it looks like Jurgen admitted that lucid dreaming is quite possibly a superior form of exploration. It seemed a significant moment as this excellent OBE showcase event was tempered by the lucid dream master present, which will no doubt fuel the ongoing OBE v. LD debate.

What a stunning presentation. The visuals far exceeded what I had envisioned and gave a greater depth of insight into the higher planes, helping to create a picture in my minds eye. As someone who experiences spontaneous OBE's it really served to inspire me with my own adventures and redirect my focus. We create from our imagination, in a universe where anything is possible... thank you dear Jurgen xxx

I found Jurgen very difficult to follow. The chaos of his presentation was too much for me and I simply could not remain through the duration.

There will be a voice recording though. The reason for voice only are copyright issues as some of the images I borrowed from the web still need clearance. Not to worry though, given a bit more time the presentation will be turned into a video with different and/or copyright cleared images.

This presentation, of course, is from my limited experiential reporter angle. I will also take a new and closer look at the synæsthesic principles of thought within the super dimensions. Although I won’t cover anything which I haven’t experienced. This is going to be a one-off event - no recordings and no repeats. Looking forward to seeing you all, Jurgen, www.multidimensionalman.com

Friday is going to be a very visual evening. I have sourced lots of images over the last few months which will illustrate the talk rather well I hope. The images which I couldn’t source I have illustrated myself, giving a feel of the very lowest up to the higher sublime dimensional worlds of our expanded Life.

I am so sorry I cannot attend to Jurgen's talk. His book was so inspiring and the 30 minute taster talk was excellent.
Is there going to be the only talk or is a Mp3 going to be available later on? I would be happy to pay for it :)
