yep the internet need more cats and dns is a good place to start with!
FRB part was pretty cool. I was a bit affraid of the size of the code on the right hand side of the binding. In the documentation examples (http://documentup.com/montagejs/frb/) code snippets are really small, but that's not what we have in reality.
There is a neat framework in Haskell (Yampa) that work with signal functions (arrows). With arrows, you can compose, loop, etc. If you want to see it in action: http://youtu.be/-IpE0CyHK7Q
I also experimented with Yampa: https://github.com/MasseGuillaume/VoxelMonad/blob/master/Update.hs#L26

Pretty good meetup. Looking forward to the next one.
We've accidentally sent out the invites with the old address. Oops! Sorry if we email you again, just want to make sure no one shows up in the wrong place.

New: Help us make the group better by filling up our Yearly Survey
We meet on every second tuesday of the month. The details are always available on js-montreal.org
If you wish to sponsor one of our events, get in touch. We often do beer + pizza before the meetup and give you a chance to talk about your company and what you're looking for in terms of developers.
Our goal is to bring the MTL JS development community together and promote the use and understanding of the language, inside and outside the browser. We've been doing this since 2010.
A beautiful space and gracious logistic help!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
